Housekeeping and laundry services are vital to maintaining the health and safety of our residents and help to remove their burden of doing a task that may be difficult for them to do. Housekeeping and laundry services include:
- Personal laundry twice a week
- Weekly laundry for bed linens
- Removing and replacing of new towels and washcloths each morning
- Cleaning and making of beds each morning
- Cleaning of resident’s rooms weekly
- Daily cleaning of bathrooms and common areas such as kitchen, dining and living areas
- Reporting of any needed repairs to the Supervisor
- Maintaining adequate supplies such as bathroom tissue, paper towels, and hand soap
- Changing room divider curtains and window draperies as needed
- Dusting and mopping all corridors
- Removing trash from all areas daily
